A 13 strong group that operates an IFR-equipped Mooney 201, G-BJHB, hangared at Wycombe Air Park, UK has three shares available for £2,999 each.
Monthly fee of £95 and flying rate of £130 per hour (timed from take-off to touchdown). Rates as at January 2010, will be reviewed in March 2010.
This is now great value flying especially when you think how far you can fly at 150kts cruise: actual sector times: Berlin 3.4hrs; Edinburgh 1.8hrs; Lille 1.3hrs; Jersey 1.1hrs; Le Touquet 1.0hrs; Cherbourg 0.9hrs. In recent years, HB has been to the Balearics, Corsica, Spain, Germany, Belgium, France, Holland, Czech Republic, Denmark and Ireland.
- There is usually excellent availability. In the last 5 years the aircraft flew an average of only 150 hours per year.
- There are no surprise costs. All maintenance and engine replacement costs are factored into the rates. The engine was "zero-timed" in July 2009.
- The group is well organised, friendly and run as a limited company. You become an equal shareholder.
- Each member gets a full copy of the Pilot's Operating Handbook and Flight Manual.

- For touring, we have a new raft and four life-jackets, plus a 406 MHz PLB with gps, and two David Clarke pax headsets.

Group Profile
Zitair Flying Club was established in 1971 and is one of the best run groups at Wycombe Air Park. The airfield is also known as Booker (EGTB) and is situated just outside the North West corner of the Heathrow Zone. The Club is fully owned by its 13 pilot shareholders on an equal basis. It has articles of association and by-laws, and a formal AGM.
The group is truly varied in its experience, ranging from ATPLs to recent PPLs and a CFI. The committee members are elected from the group every year and cover the key roles of Chairman, Treasurer, Company Secretary and Bookings Officer.
