Moored at Haven Marina in the centre of Ipswich, this yacht is well maintained with a full service each year. New copper coating anti-fouling last year. Original, beautiful mahogany interior. It accommodates six people, with a forecabin, spacious stern cabin and two berths in the saloon. There is extensive dry lined storage below the saloon berths.
¼ share price is £9,995. The annual running costs total £1,000 per year for insurance, mooring fees and fuel. These costs have already been paid for 2010. Any additional maintenance costs that may come up during the year are agreed in advance as required and split between the sharers equally.
This yacht has been mainly used for coastal trips, along the Suffolk coast, for example to Lowestoft and along the Kent coast. The yacht needs a minimum of two crew and sharers have often sailed together.
The marina is well siutated with a pub and shared shower/toilet block, making it convenient to stay on the yacht overnight.

I am selling my share after 3 years of happy sailing as I have retired and left the area. The other three sharers all met through work and have been together several years. The sharers are lively and sociable. When I joined, I had just got my day skipper and they introduced me to the boat, sailed with me and helped me to build my experience.
The group meets annually (usually in December) to agree responsibilities and stays in contact mainly by email throughout the rest of the year, to arrange use of the boat.
