Partner wanted for 16ft fishing boat with cabin, Kingsbear, River Dart
I purchased a 16ft fishing boat with a cabin, approx 6 weeks ago, along with the oars, anchor and cover and a trailer. The boat is seaworthy and in good working order. I have had the engine checked - it's a few years old, has not been used that much and is in very good condition.
The boat is moored in the centre of Waterhead Creek, in Kingswear. It's ideal for fishing or simply for pleasure cruising on the beautiful River Dart; it's a lovely trip up to Totnes for example. Kingswear itself is picturesque location, quiet and friendly with good amenities.
I would like one sharer to help with the running costs and advise on/help with the general maintenance. I had hoped to share with a friend who I fish with, but this has not worked out. I expect the running costs to be very modest; the mooring fee per year, for example, is just £72.

I am a keen fisherman, but have little experience of boats. I have learnt a lot already from more experienced friends and would like a partner who has some experience of boats, who can pass that knowledge on. I think it's important to keep the boat in good working order and looking nice - for example, I am going to repaint it before the summer. A local partner would be an advantage but is not essential, if someone is interested in the boat for weekend/holiday use.
